The results are in from the Charity Challenge XXVI! In the beginning of May, the MAG blog told you about the Charity Challenge on May 21, a day-long team challenge with nearly 100 co-ed teams from the hospitality and apartment industries competing in six sporting events.
The Florida teams raised $3,800, for a total of $4,400 going to Central Florida charities, which is $1,395 more than last year. Madison donated a total of $600 for charities throughout Central Florida, including the Ronald McDonald House and the Harbor House of Central Florida.
For raising more than $3,000, the teams will be awarded the Governor’s Cup and Mayor Trophy during a ceremony in June. The Governor’s Cup and Mayor’s Trophy are awarded each year to those who demonstrate outstanding contributions to the community. Congratulations to Team Madison and all of the teams who participated in this year’s Charity Challenge.
