The National Kidney Foundation to raise funds and awareness forall of the Foundation’s research, programs, and initiatives. The National Kidney Foundation (NKF), a major voluntary nonprofit health organization, is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by kidney disease, and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation. More than 26 million Americans–that’s 1 in 9 adults– struggling with chronic kidney disease.

Please join Madison as we host a variety of fundraising events benefiting the Foundation at our communities across the country, like spaghetti dinners, dress-down work days, raffles and picnics.

Madison is a corporate sponsor of one of NKF’s most popular events, the annual Kidney Walks. These fun and inspiring events take place throughout the year to raise awareness for kidney disease and promote the need for organ donation. Since 2008, Madison has been actively raising money and walking in the annual Kidney Walk in Philadelphia. • Breakfast On The Go
  Madison at Hershey Heights will host a free breakfast on Wednesday, May 25th from 7 AM – 9 AM for all community residents. Hungry Hershey Heights members can stop by the entrance to pick up a complimentary breakfast! If you can’t stop by, the staff will bring breakfast right to your door after 9 AM. Just a small thank you from your staff, and in return, we ask for only a $2 donation to the National Kidney Foundation.
• Summer Picnic & Giveaway
  On Friday, June 17, 2011, from 5 PM to 9 PM, join Madison at Exton Crossing neighbors at the Grand Pavilion for a summer evening of music, delicious catered buffet & door prizes! Bring blankets, beach chairs and dancing shoes to the 13th Annual Free Summer Picnic by simply sending an RSVP to the Leasing Center before June 9th.

  This year’s picnic will feature a Grand Prize drawing to win a free month’s rent! A donation of $10 makes you eligible for a single entry. You can push the odds in your favor for just $1 more – Every dollar donation over $10 earns you an extra entry into the drawing. All proceeds benefit the National Kidney Foundation, so enter now and good luck!
