Upclose with Madison: Cathy Jo Sander – Marketing & Sales Director
Cathy Jo Sander, known by her colleagues for being a team player, likes to live by the motto “you have to love where you work” and, she truly does. A seasoned communicator, Cathy Jo prides herself in her responsiveness, accountability and most importantly, her enthusiasm!
As the Marketing & Sales Director for Madison Apartment Group, Cathy Jo is responsible for defining effective marketing and advertising strategies for the company. In addition, she is in charge of tracking all advertising placements and training the onsite sales team, teaching the importance of team work and value-added customer service.
Her favorite thing about Madison Apartment Group is the company and staff’s charity-driven behavior. From their involvement in the National Kidney Foundation to local charities within each community, their main goal is giving back to those who need it most.
To improve Madison residents’ living experience, Cathy Jo recommends that residents get to know their management team. From the day to day office team to the maintenance department, developing these relationships is a great way to better understand your community.
Cathy Jo has been with Madison Apartment group since 2005. Prior to joining Madison Apartment Group, she worked as a Certified Leasing and Sales Specialist (C.L.A.S.S), located in Atlanta GA. Shortly after, she transferred to AIMCO Apartments, where she was responsible for developing sales, customer service training and nationwide training for directors of marketing and on site teams. She held several positions during her 11 year stint at AIMCO from the Leasing Manager of 1,802 units to Marketing Project Manager.
Cathy Jo enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two small children, running and any outdoor activity.
