On June 19, 2012, Madison Apartment Group recognized seven communities and three individuals for their outstanding operational performance and excellence in customer service, leadership and management at its 2011-2012 Madison Awards Dinner. The dinner was part of the company’s Madison Makeover – 2012 Edition Leadership Conference, which brought together more than 100 Madison team members including all of its community directors, regional property managers, divisional vice presidents, service directory advisory panelists, senior management and accounting, human resources, marketing departments.
Three of Madison’s more than 70 communities were awarded The National and Divisional Community of the Year awards. In 2011, these communities had financial performances that exceeded expectations with significant increases in revenue and decreases in expenses. Additionally, the communities had exceptional resident retention, impressive resident satisfaction scores and were operated by management teams that proved to be dedicated to meeting and exceeding operational expectations while providing excellent service to their residents.
The Most Improved Community of the Year award was presented to communities in both the North and South Divisions that overcame significant operational obstacles to achieve greater than expected revenue growth while the Best Customer Service was presented to two communities in the North and South Division that consistently scored more than 4.50 on their SatisFacts Resident Survey programs for both move ins and work orders.
